RETURN & REFUND POLICIES
GROUP, SEMI-PRIVATE, AND PRIVATE DANCE LESSONS
Payment Methods
Registration and payment must be received in advance to guarantee spot or upon arrival at the first class of the session. Payment options include: Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard), Cash (in person only). Please note that all prices listed for EDF group or semi-private classes, and private lessons are in Canadian Dollars.
Refunds for Dance Lessons
Please note that there are NO refunds for all dance lesson bookings and NO credits for missed group and/or semi-private classes purchased. At the discretion of the management, credit may be given toward future sessions in special circumstances (e.g., Medical with Doctor’s note).
Group and Semi-Private Workshop Missed Classes
Each workshop class is approximately 50 minutes in length, with some semi-supervised practice time available immediately after the formal lesson. Please note that there may be multiple instructors and lessons on the dance floor at any time. A different instructor may be assigned based on dance styles or availability.
For students who miss or are unable to attend any scheduled group or semi-private classes, please note that there are no make-up classes. In addition, students will not receive credit for missed classes.
Lesson Cancellation, Rescheduling Notice, & Structure
For private and semi-private lessons, a minimum of 48 hours’ notice is needed to cancel or re-schedule without charge. Otherwise, the paid rate will apply.
Each private lesson is approximately 55 minutes in length. Please note that there may be multiple instructors and lessons on the dance floor at any time; a surcharge will apply if a student desires exclusive use of the dance floor.
A different instructor may be assigned based on dance styles or availability.
Lessons may be rescheduled with advance notice from EDF, and may take place in either the Main studio or an alternative location.
Gift Certificates
Gift certificates are available for group classes or private lessons. Recipients must specify and attend a group class program or private lesson within 12 months from the booking date indicated on the certificate.
Special Offers & Promotions
From time to time, there may be special offers and discounts offered through official event, marketing, or activity partners. Please note that these offers cannot be combined with any other Offers & Promotions, and have no cash value. Offers, promotions and coupons can be used for any single purchase on regularly priced items only.
Liability Waiver
As with other recreational sports and physical activities, there is always the potential for injury. All clients must sign our standard Liability Waiver prior to the start of their first group, semi-private, or private lesson package.

Other
- Observers are only permitted at EDF Open Houses (please see our Event Schedule for upcoming dates and times), but not during any formal group, semi-private or private lessons.
- Video recording is prohibited, unless authorized by EDF management.
- Cell phones must be placed on silent or off while classes are in session.
- Please dispose of all trash and materials in the appropriate receptacles.
- Please note that EDF is not responsible for lost or stolen property.
